Trick to upload the big-sized images in blogger - In yesterday’s post, written how to get image hosting with unlimited bandwidth, it is by using Blogger. But there is a little bug that we cannot post or upload the images over 400 pixels, because when we do that, it will be automatically less than 400 pixels.

Is there any trick on how to upload the bigger images in blogger? The answer is yes and easy. Curious? Here are the ways:

  • Please upload the image with size of more than 400 pixels to blogger.
  • If the image has been displayed on your blog, right click on the image and then select Copy Image Location to get the URL of the image.
  • Paste on text editor program such as "Notepad", "WordPad', or any other text editor program. Example: The image URL that Kang Rohman gets as follows:

  • Notice the red-printed code. That’s the code that limits the bigger images into the fixed size as stated, 400pixels. To get the maximum results, we only need to change the value becomes s800 (If the images we upload will not be more than 800 pixels) or change he value with s1600 (If the images we want to upload more than 800 pixels). E.g.: The code will be:

It is very easy, right? Need to prove? Please click the link below:

Now compare with this:

Also compare with this:

The code format above is generated when we upload the images directly from blogger’s post editor. Now when we use Windows Live Writer as Kang Rohman is used to doing, the format will be as follows:

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKPtxm0oE-P5ahNDXmLBo5jK_X-b-Cxrm8v2SKMp0uX41c45CuYCE7si0zRdFhYvPOxmorYoyk_oTZR_Sa36Wlp2ugCTeWX-_5qXt8VkfiuHemrNpYegO0xjLxSRtPUBytvYBfJI_IBHU/?imgmax800

It’s seen that the image displayed will be limited to only 800 pixels, to obtain the maximum images, simply change the value 800 with 1600, so the code will be like this:

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKPtxm0oE-P5ahNDXmLBo5jK_X-b-Cxrm8v2SKMp0uX41c45CuYCE7si0zRdFhYvPOxmorYoyk_oTZR_Sa36Wlp2ugCTeWX-_5qXt8VkfiuHemrNpYegO0xjLxSRtPUBytvYBfJI_IBHU/?imgmax1600

The trick to change the pixel value will be also be applicable to post the images in general. You only need to go first to EDIT HTML, and then change the pixel value or code.

Evidently, we can upload the bigger-sized images in blogger, can’t we?

Happy trying!
