It wouldn't make sense to offer a free book on how to build traffic on a site that instructs people how to get out of debt. People who visit that site go there because they have an interest in managing their finances.
A better offer to this audience would be a free report on how to save money.
I've seen many people offer a free eBook to anyone who subscribes to their newsletter. This is a great idea. People guard their email addresses so carefully these days, so offering something in exchange for their address is a great idea.
